ACOUSTICAL MINERAL FIBER CEILING

Daiken is established on year 1945 and has grown into one of the world's leading manufacturers of building materials on passed 60 over years. Daiken Mineral Fiber Ceiling Board is also the first choice and important interior building material for modern architecture in Japan.

Long before there was a strong global awareness of the need for environmental preservation, Daiken began to search for ways that the company, as a building materials manufacturer, could help to protect the global environment.

On year 1952, Daiken began working on the development of the "Daiken Board" wood fiber board that effectively utilizes wood waste. These include mineral fiber board called "Dai-Lotone", "Excel-Tone, Excel-Tone MR", "New-Tone" for ceiling and wall paneling with "total thermal insulation" energy-saving construction method, and "Dailite" which is made from mineral fiber and volcanic silicate, previously untapped sources of raw material.

Daiken Okayama plant and other primary production plants have earned the certification ISO 14001 on year 1998 and ISO 9001 on year 2000.
